Hello
I found on a Nose art book a picture of an airplane with the following name on it "Little Chief". The girl on the painting is wearing a jacket with the "Jolly Rogers" patch on it.
1. Now I'm trying to found out some information regarding this airplane and the picture!
2. I'm as well planning to have it painted on an A-2 jacket and I'm looking now for the right patch to add on it. Now I found two version of the 90th BG patch "Jolly Rogers" and "Impavide"- dinosaur. Could you tell me which one was used on the A-2 as group patch?

The original 'Official' patch for the 90th BG was approved 9/22/1942 and was the Azure colored shield with a pterdactyle and the motto IMPAVIDE-Undauntedly. But then it was changed with The Jolly... more

My 81 yr old father stated he was issued an A-2 jacket in 1942 in the states with THE JOLLY ROGERS patch. Anyone that flew received a jacket with that patch. J
