I was wondering if anyone had information on the Iverson crew. I never met my grandfather Evan. He passed away when he was quite young so his story went with him 60+ years ago. I have some of his things, uniforms, goggles, 50cal shell casings with notes rolled in them. I would really like a story to go with them.
Thank you

Re: Evan B. Smith B-24 waist gunner 320th? Big Emma Iverson crew
I found a few articles that mention Lt. Iverson's crew in the book "Legacy of the 90th Bombardment Group". He apparently was in the early part of the war, 1942-43
Unfortunately, Men weren't mentioned in the books unless they were a casuallty or a pilot so no direct reference to Evan B. Smith and there were no photos of the crew that I could find.
