Henry Hansen was part of the crew. In your original message you said that you had confirmed him so I did not repeat him. The reason that they are not listed as MIA is that 5th AF sent a mission to the crash site shortly after they went down and they recovered and buried the remains on site so they were no longer missing. It is still up in the air whether some survived the crash and were the victims of cannibals. I just checked with Maxwell for any info on the recovery expedition but they were unable to locate anything. If you are interested in a particular person you can request the information on the disposition of their remains.

Great info! Thanks. Since only Hansen, Nix, and Ratliff are listed on the ABMC website - all showing as buried in Manila - I assume that all other remains were recovered and returned for stateside...
