Check page 162 of Wiley Woods Book "The Legacy Of The 9oth Bombardment Group. It tells about this mission.The Pilot Was !st Lt. Richard J. Thurber but the 321st CO Major Stanley Robeck was flying with them and in command of the Air craft.If you don't have access to the book send me an email address and I'll copy it for you.

    Does anyone know anything about this aircraft and the crew. My birth dad was the engineer on board. My understanding is he also used one of the onboard guns. The aircraft was shot down over Formosa.... more

      This plane is shown in the Nose Art Section as "Miss Jolly Rogers". It had "Booby Trap" on the other side.Here are two other sites that have some info about the plane.... more

        My Dad Arthur D Hoffman painted Booby Trap. He was with the Jolly Rogers from 44-45 as Photo-recon, may have been in the 400th. Not sure, how records are mostly gone and reconstructing is a challenge.
