Message:
My grandfather, First Lieutenant John (Jack) Hugh Davis, Jr., served in the 400th Bomb Squad as a navigator and was shot down on May 15, 1945 (according to the Missing in Action tablet). My grandmother knew little about him but remembers Patrick Mulcahy (sp?) as his pilot. He was stationed at March Field in CA and was shot down somewhere over the Philippenes. I would appreciate any information that anyone has about him.
