Passing on a photo album

Hopefully someone can help me. I am a former U.S. History teacher, and one of my students gave me a photo album that they found at a yard sale in Virginia. The album contains pictures taken during World War II, but the owner of the album is not noted. I would love to find the original owner, or someone who is pictured in the album so I could give it to them. Most of the pictures seem to have been taken in New Guinea. Some of the locations are:
DoBoDuro: Nov. 43 to Jan. 44
Morseby: Jan. 44 to April 44
Nadzab: April 44 to August 44
Biak: August 44 to Jan. 45

The men in the photos seem to be affiliated with the Army Air Force.

There are some pictures of planes also. Here are some of those planes:
Bad Maggie #156
Red Raiders B-24
Twin Nifties II B-24
Miss Jolly Roger B-24 Liberator
(I believe this plane was part of the 90th Bomb Group, 321st Bomb Squadron)

Here are some of the men identified in the pictures:
Jim Bawcome
Dale Garret
Jess Harvat
Leo Putzel
Bob Rohn
Paul Hospodor
Bob Harrison
Ray Murray
Johnny White
Frederic Stapleton
Johnny Swain
Herb Partington
Jerry Nemeroff
Paul Rice
Chuck Morrissey

Any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
