Seeking Info on my Grandfather

Hello, I’m seeking any and all information you might have on my Grandfather. His name was Stanley Opalenik and served as a nose gunner in a B-24J (Emerson turret). I know he arrived sometime in the Pacific sometime in spring or early Summer 1945. He finished out the war serving in the occupation forces in Japan till he had enough points to come home.
