Hello all.
Seeking information or documents that can confirm Howard Simon Coan was in the 319th. I obtained a few pay stubs that indicate 319th bomber squadron. All other documents from his vet record I am told were lost in the archives fire.
Any helpful direction or resources including unit rosters etc would be appreciated. Working in a book for his family.

You may be able to find a copy of a printed booklet that I think its called "Who's Who of the 90th Bomb Group" or something of that nature. That should contain named lists all the squadrons crews and service personnel. I've seen this but its been many years back. Someone on this forum may know how to help find or search for his name in that. Below is a link to a downloadable book you may find interesting as well.
Best of Luck,
