I have four crew lists for Lark Martin and Gibson is only on the first. He does have four crew credits for enemy aircraft destroyed by bomber crews. However, the same post war order shows that Lark Martin had 10 so for some reason Gibson did not continue to fly with Martin. There was a story about Lark Martin in the Saturday Evening Post titled The Lark by Charles A. Rawlings on August 19, 1944.

MARTIN, LARK E. #791050, 400th Sqdn. crew # 1, Gibson, victor H. #791417, Knowlton, Justin G. #664321, Bomocino, William J. #729410, Boardman, William D. #11017416, Stratton, Phillip W. #6388053, Gray, Francis J. #13073619, Crandall, Donald O. #37419038, Dooley, Joseph F. #31122448, no positions given. From my microfilm # 1637, dated 1-9-1943. (Loyde Adams crew list)
