I am told my Grandfather was a Jolly Pirate in the 5th AF 90th Bombardment group. I believe he was an aerial gunner. I have a picture of him and his sqaudron in front of their plane which looks very much like "Moby Dick"? And from information I am reading here. That was 320th Squadron? My grandfather passed and I have very fond memories of him but too young for War stories. I am trying to get as much info as I can for geneology. Any information, pictures, stories would be greatly treasured. So much information is missing and I would really love any help anyone could provide.
God Bless

The 320th Squadron was the Moby Dick Squadron and they had the shark teeth on the noses of their planes. Your grandfather was a member of the Muchow crew and I have attached his crew and his serial number is by his name.

MUCHOW, CLIFFORD W. #679094, 320th Sqdn. crew # 2, Grennison, Donald R. #671424, (cp), Mason, Virgil E. #682704, (b), Shaw, Kenneth E. #12172577, Stevens, Orville O. #17069149, Reno, Glen M. #35614379, Johnson, Russel J. #35415737, Zwadski, Joe #32473643, Judkins, Donald E. #37396032. From microfilm # 730, dated 2-26-1944.
