90th Bomb Group - Privacy policy
NO SPAM
We will never share, sell, or exchange your email address with any third party or advertiser. You will recieve a single Welcome email from us shortly after Signing Up. If you activate notification e-mails, you may receive an email whenever someone replies to your posts, or whenever a new topic is posted. We may occationaly send Group emails to all users only if there are important events or changes affecting the website or your account. You may opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated emails from your User Control Panel (UCP).
COOKIES
Browsing the 90th Bomb Group website will temporarily store small text files called cookies in your web browser's cookie jar. These contain a user id, an anonymous php session id, and one smart cookie that remembers which topics you've already read as a convenience. We do not not store any third party tracking or advertising cookies.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
You submit information to us whenever you post a message or Sign Up on the 90th Bomb Group website. At a minimum, your account will contain a unique user name, a password, and a valid email address. Any information beyond your user name, password, and email address is optional. In all cases, you have the option to choose what information in your account is displayed publicly.
PRIVATE MESSAGES
The term "Private" as applied to Private Messages simply means that the messages are not displayed to other users of the message board. It does not imply that they are securely transmitted or stored or protected from server hacking. You should not transmit any identifying or financial information via Private Messaging even if you trust the recipient.
PASSWORDS
Your password is securely stored using a one-way hash encryption so even we can't recover it for you. If you forget your password, use the “I forgot my password” link on the Sign In page. You will be asked to submit your user name and email address. A new password will be emailed to the email address on file. You should change your password in the User Control Panel after signing in. You should not reuse the same password across a number of different websites.
Under no circumstances will anyone affiliated with the 90th Bomb Group, phpBB, or any another 3rd party, ask for your password via email or telephone!
