A crew was not assigned to a particular plane. If you have a journal or flight records, look for a 3 digit number on a particular date and it denotes the plane they used on that particular date.

All I was able to find was his promotion to Tech order dated October 15, 1945. For some reason the site would not allow me to download a copy of the order. Contact me directly and I will send you the order.
