Re: Nose Art Artists in the 90th BG
Another mystery... who is this gentleman? I would have thought it was Homer King, but his son Michael said it is not. The style does not match Hoffman, Cooper or Eipper.

I found this close up of the above aircraft dropping the bombs in my scans, but unfortunately there is no name.

Re: Seeking information about my uncle a bombadier
Did some looking around and found this listed under MACR 15983, but wasn't able to find the actual report. Found these 2 pages. I wasn't able to find the BuNo of the B-24.

Not sure what the significance of "521" is. I thought perhaps his number, but that is not it.

Re: Nose Art Artists in the 90th BG
Thanks Bob. These are great! I have most of those, but certainly not in color. That's fantastic. I wonder if I have the wrong artist attributed to Buck Benny. Hoffman's Booby Trap, Little Chief and Road to Tokyo all are signed "521" and Buck Benny doesn't appear to have that. It sure looks...

Re: Nose Art Artists in the 90th BG
Thanks for the information Bob! I know Marking was in the 20th (stated above), but who was Eipper with if not the 90th? I assume they were all at the same base at the same time at some point then near the end of the war. At least so far, I've not come across anything that he painted that wasn't in t...

Re: Nose Art Artists in the 90th BG
This is the newest thread with updated information.
I have photos of most of these aircraft, but I really would like to get copies of Hoffman painting Booby Trap from Cherie Clark for my book.
