Message:

I was hoping that someone may be able to assist me in attempting to try and find out some of the 90th Bombardment Group members that I can't find their serial numbers?

The following men's names are

Dale THORNHILL Major
Lewis G JONES 1st Lt
Bryon H EWICK S/Sgt
Oscar A SJOLIN T/Sgt
Thomas FETTER Capt
Milton DRISKEN 2nd Lt
Roudolph VETTER T/Sgt

(3 other member sof the crew unknown)

I spoke with Thomas FETTER and he stated this was the crew of the B24 Libertaor that belly landed on the beach at Iron Range. The plane was named CONDOR.

I hope someone is able to assist

Many thanks

I would be wary of using that site - as I dont think that is the right serial number for THORNHILL - I have had my post answered thanks

You are welcome anyways. The site is very useful, but you need to know that serial numbers change. I know they sometimes do when ranks change. Which might explain the discrepancy you have noticed.... more
