I have a list of the crew of the Connells Special. I have been doing research on it as my grandfather, Bonny Stephens was the tail gunner. Apparently this was an experimental plane and you can find more about it here: http://www.ploiesti.net/page11.html

The crew list as I have it is:

Capt Bennett P Browder Jr
Capt Philip Conti
Capt George P Dunmore
T/Sgt John R Seper
T/Sgt Denny P Schafer
S/Sgt James J Riley
S/Sgt Harol R Pierce
S/Sgt Earl M Hodges
S/Sgt Bonny W Stephens
S/Sgt Eugene T Harris

I don't have much more info than this, other than they were commended for mission they flew 10 Oct 1943 where Connells Special and several other planes were attacked by 40 Zeros, three of which this crew shot down.
