Today, I met an 85 year old 5th AAF veteran who claims that he was on the payroll staff of the 95th BG stationed at Clark Field when the war ended. Since the 95th flew B-17s out of England and was in the 8th AAF, I think maybe this veteran might have been in the 90th BG. I served in the 43rd BG late in the war.
His name is Murphy S. Bova and he lives in Buffalo, NY. Does this name ring a bell with anyone reading these messages? I would appreciate hearing from you if it does. My e-mail address is: jimcher@adelphia.net.
