Thank you Mr. Tupa. Tessie Bacon was my grandmother she passed in '69. Did you have a friend or relative on that flight? My father( Charles' younger brother) passed in August of 05 and he made a couple of comments while he was sick about wishing he had done more research about his brothers dissapearance. We wanted to get some dates of birth and death so we can put a headstone (as memory) next to our father so they my rest together. Thanks to these postings we have our information. Thank you. More responses and info are always welcome.

    The plane took off from McGuirer Strip and their destination was Florida Blanca. Charles E. Bacon was a Staff Sergeant and is serial number was 37708854. His next of kin was his mother, Mrs. Teasie... more
