Hello, I am a newspaper reporter in Kalamazoo Michigan trying to confirm that Fred Hellenga flew as a captain of B-24. His cousin wrote saying that and I will be contacting Mr. Hellenga, but as we have had several cases of people claiming to have been a veteran of certain events and not having been, I just want to double check.
We are doing a special on the end of the pacific part of World war II so I need a rsponse this week. Thank you ver much. My phone number is 269 3888563
