To All the Veterans of America,

   My name is Calvin Murphy. I live on a small farm in Northern Michigan.
I am trying to muster up at least One Million Veterans to meet in Washington
D.C., on Veterans Day ( Nov. 11). It is time for us to be heard in the halls
of Congress, the floor of the Senate, and to the White House. And to either
Mr. Bush or Mr. Kerry  whoever ends up as President. There has been enough
cuts to the Veterans Affairs, and enough of the politics that have been
ruling this system. Please I need your help in setting this up.  I need help
to get this moving. Please send this letter to any veteran you know, and let
it keep going around the country.  If anyone has any ideas please contact
me. Time is short but hope we can get something going. I am a Viet Nam
veteran ( 66-67) DMZ.  There was a Million Man March, a Million Mother March
so why can't we do this. Think of the veterans from the past who need
services and have to wait because the system is overrun, and think of are
young folks serving know in harms way and other MOS's.  We have to do this
for ourselfs and the future. The system must be overhauled to serve all.
When the Goverment called we answered and served all over the world. So know
we must call on the goverment to help us. The time has come to stand up. I
will be there on Veterans Day even if I have to by myself.  My Brother
Veterans I am asking for help to put this togeather.  Let this movement
start here on this farm in Michigan and end up in DC. No more VA hospitals
closings, no more staff cut backs, no more waiting list, and the list goes
on. Lets be heard and give input on how we can help the system. Please feel
