Thomas C. Sippel of the 90th BG 321st BS went to Canada to become a Pilot after pearl Harbor. Tom was too tall to fit into the cock pit of a fighter so he returned to the states and joined the Army Air Corps. Alot of Wisconsin men ended up in the 90th.
