Im sorry I dont have much to tell you. I have been going down the topics and asking my father if he knew any of the planes or crew that people want help with. My father Joseph Broschart stated his first mission ever was on COWTOWNS REVENGE as a borrowed plane in squadron 319th. His squadron was the 320th but the pilots of COWTOWNS REVENGE AND the EAGER BEAVER were friends. Apparently "we" needed a plane soooo the pilot of COWTOWNS REVENGE let "us" borrow the plane for a mission. He said they used the plane in November 1942 and left at 11pm and returned at 9am (he remembers this, makes me laugh). They took off from IRON RANGE, AUSTRALIA (northern Australia). It was called IRON RANGE because of the trees?? Sorry to say, my dad ran into the COWTOWNS pilot at a reunion but forgot his name. He questioned by dad because my dad claimed to be a crew member of WHITLOCKs and he told this pilot the name of his airplane and the circumstances of how WHITLOCK "borrowed" it.

Researching loss of COWTOWN's REVENGE. Looking for additional information that would help locate Islet Island the site of the ditching and any remaining members of the crew.
