My dad, Joseph Broschart, has a copy of the SATURDAY EVENING POST (I believe) with the Eager Beaver featured on the cover and in an article. I can ask him the date on the cover. We never really were able to look at the magazine much because he kept it safe. They had taken reporters along on a flight. I asked why their plane, and dad said because the reporters wanted the best chance of coming back alive. And the crew had done well on missions. He also said reporters get in the way! But he was proud of that magazine cover.
