This is from Woods' book 'The Legact of the 90th BG'
"On Christmas Eve night the 90th suffered its only casualties of the month and they were not combat related. Two radio operators, Cpl. Robert D. Sturgis and Cpl. Jack E. Titelman, took a weapons carrier without permission to to joy riding. They were traveling at a high rate of speed when they were unable to negotiate a curve and ran over an embankment. Both were killed."

Just came across this board. My Uncle was in the 400th Sqdn. 90th group. His name was Jack E. Titelman, T/Sgt. I have always hoped for information about him. He died on December 24, 1944. Was sent...

I cousin was in the 400th, I am wondering if he was in your group. when your uncle died my cousin was in Europe, he was killed November 30, 1944. Calvin C. Davis
