I cant believe I just saw this name. if he was in the 320th squadron THE EAGER BEAVER with my dad Joe. My dad referred to him as "Eddie". their bomber was one of the most photographed AND there is a youtube video called 5TH ARMY 90TH BOMBARDMENT where their bomber was featured with the flight crew. look for your Dad in the video.my dad Joe is putting on the insulated suit. If your dad was a gunner...they made the newspapers as :THE DEMONS OF DESTRUCTION" for surviving as a lone bomber amidst 12 Japanese Zeros. I think they shot 5 0r 6 planes down and a poster was made of this event on THE DOUBLE TROUBLE.

    Cynthia, When did your father serve? Do you have any pictures of him as a young man during the war? I have lots of photos of unidentified airmen ... maybe he's in one of my photos.
